Achieving prosperity and success becomes much easier once you get your brain on board. Having your brain as an ally in accomplishing your goals results in less resistance and self-sabotage. You also begin to have positive expectations toward succeeding, which create excitement. Follow these guidelines to persuade your brain to accept your wishes for prosperity and success.


  1. Set an intention every morning. This is a guideline for how you want your day to turn out. It influences where you will put your attention for the day.
  1. Get a daily shot of inspiration by having positive quotes emailed to you. Try Positive Life Tips or Desktop-Quotes.
  1. Set positive reminders on your smartphone or computer.
  1. Listen to affirmation CDs or your favorite motivating audiobook on a low volume as you fall asleep. Research at Northwestern University suggests that what you practice during the day can be reinforced while you sleep, thereby improving your results.
  1. Infuse motivation into your environment. Use decals, block letters, plaques, framed pictures, or posters to include positive messages into your immediate surroundings. Get creative.

  1. Keep a journal designated for success or prosperity. Write about your goals, progress, and new insights.
  1. Hang around successful people. Knowing successful people makes success seem more tangible and attainable. Success will be in your face every time you are around them, and you will pick up a few of their habits.
  1. Motivating or inspiring music can serve as a great pick me up and emphasize positive messages in an enjoyable manner.
  1. Reviewing your goals keeps them in the forefront, so you will be more likely to take action toward achieving them. Making this a daily practice will create new neural pathways in the brain. Going over your goals before falling asleep and upon waking is ideal because you are in the alpha state during these times.
  1. Read a few pages of your favorite book about success or prosperity every day. As you commit it to memory, you will act on the concepts in the book.
  1. Watch or listen to your favorite motivational speaker to get you back on track if you’ve drifted or to keep you on track.
